Hair Extensions by Aprille

Terms of service

The agreement, in plain English.

What you can expect from us and what we ask of you — consultations, quotes, deposits at the hair-order stage, the 30-day promise, and the rest.

Who these terms are between

These terms apply to hairextensionsbyaprille.com and to extension services provided by Aprille, working at Novum Hair Studio, 5171 Mission Center Rd, Studio 21, San Diego, CA 92108. By booking a consultation or a service, you agree to what's written here. Questions first? Email hello@hairextensionsbyaprille.com or text 858-727-0619.

Consultations

Consultations are free, in person, and carry no obligation. There is no card on file and no deposit to book one. A consultation is where your hair is assessed, your color is matched in person, and you receive an exact quote. Requesting time windows on this site is a request, not a confirmed appointment — your appointment exists once Aprille confirms a specific time with you.

Quotes and pricing

There are no fixed install prices, because an install depends on method, amount of hair, length, and color work. Your quote is given at the consultation and is itemized. A quote is valid for 30 days; hair prices are set by the vendor and can move, in which case you'll be told before anything is ordered. Ongoing maintenance is predictable: hand-tied move-ups are $200 for the first row plus $100 for each additional row, and I-tip hair is priced on a $100 per bundle basis.

Hair orders and deposits

There is no deposit for a consultation. A deposit applies only at the hair-order stage, and only for new clients: 50% of the cost of the hair, which is applied to your total. The color portion of a service is never deposited. Hair is ordered specifically for you and is not returnable once ordered.

Rescheduling and cancellations

Life happens — tell us as early as you can and we'll move things. For a hair order that is already placed, one reschedule is allowed; after that, the deposit is forfeited because the hair has been bought for you. Arriving significantly late may mean the service has to be shortened or moved, so the rest of the day's clients aren't affected.

The 30-day free-fix promise

For 30 days after an install, anything that isn't sitting right — a row that loosens, a strand that slips, a bead that turns — is fixed free. The promise covers the work, not damage caused by another stylist, chemical services performed elsewhere, or normal maintenance that is due (move-ups are not free fixes). Tell us early; almost everything is a quick correction when it's caught in week one.

Your part in the care

Extensions last as long as they are cared for. That means keeping your move-up rhythm (roughly every two months), brushing from the ends up, keeping conditioner and oils off the rows and beads, drying the roots properly, and not applying box color or chemical services to extension hair. We can't guarantee results where aftercare or the maintenance schedule hasn't been followed.

Calls, texts and emails (SMS terms)

When you request a consultation, we contact you about that appointment by phone, text, and email — those messages are transactional and are sent because you asked us to get in touch. Marketing texts (occasional hair tips, offers, and reminders that aren't about a booked appointment) are sent only if you tick the consent box on the form; it is unchecked by default and consent is never a condition of any service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We don't send marketing emails without your permission, and any marketing email carries an unsubscribe link we honor promptly. Text 858-727-0619 or email hello@hairextensionsbyaprille.com with any messaging question. What we store, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.

Health and honesty

Tell us about scalp conditions, recent chemical services, medications, or hair loss concerns before a service. If extensions aren't right for your hair — that day or at all — you'll hear it, and no service will be performed that we believe would harm your hair.

Site content

The text and photos on this site belong to Hair Extensions by Aprille and may not be reused without permission. Everything here is general information about extension services, not a guarantee of a specific outcome — your result depends on your hair, and it is discussed honestly at your consultation.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If something goes wrong, contact us first — nearly everything is resolved in a conversation. Any dispute that isn't resolved that way belongs to the courts of San Diego County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page is the current one. Last updated: September 2026.
