Is the consultation really free?
Yes — completely free, in person, no deposit and no obligation. You get a dream-hair conversation, an honest assessment of your hair, a color match, and an exact quote.
How fast can I get extensions after the consultation?
From consult to install is about a week — often sooner. Your hair is ordered right after you say yes, and the install is scheduled as soon as it arrives.
What is the 30-day free-fix promise?
Any issue within the first month of your install — a row that loosens, a strand that slips, anything that doesn't feel right — is fixed free. It's the strongest guarantee we know of in San Diego.
Which extension methods are offered?
Hand-tied wefts (the signature method) and I-tip strands. Tape-ins are available on request when they're genuinely the right fit. The method is matched to your hair at the consult.
Will extensions damage my hair?
Not when the right method is installed and maintained correctly on hair that's healthy enough to carry it. That health check happens honestly at the consultation — if extensions aren't right for you yet, you'll hear it.
How often is maintenance needed?
A move-up appointment roughly every 2 months as your natural hair grows. With good care, the extension hair itself is typically reusable across move-ups.
What kind of hair is used?
Premium hair from trusted, locked-in vendors — including Muse Extension Company, JZ Styles, The Hair Shop, and HER Hair Extensions for specialty matches. Quality of hair is the difference between extensions that last and extensions that disappoint.
Where do appointments happen?
At Novum Hair Studio in San Diego, California, where Aprille is the resident extension specialist.
Do I need to pay a deposit for the consultation?
No. Consultations are always free. A deposit only exists at the hair-order stage for new clients — 50% of the hair cost, applied fully to your install.
Can I see examples of previous work?
Yes — the gallery grows with every install, and before/after photos are captured with each client's explicit consent. Check the gallery page or ask at your consult.
