Who we are

What we collect
When you submit the consultation form or take the quiz, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, optional email, your requested appointment windows, and your quiz answers about your hair goals. We also collect basic usage data (pages viewed, referring source) through analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not collect payment information on this site.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your consultation request, coordinate your appointment, send you a confirmation email and calendar invite, and — only if you check the consent box — send you occasional text updates. We do not sell your information.
Text messages & consent (TCPA)
Appointment confirmations and reminders are transactional and sent because you requested a consultation. Marketing texts (occasional updates and nudges) are sent only if you explicitly opt in by checking the consent box on the form — it is unchecked by default. You can stop marketing texts at any time by replying STOP; message and data rates may apply. Replying STOP stops all texts from us.
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics to measure site usage (for example, which pages lead to consultations). These set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers that run this business, and only as needed: Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email), senderZ (text messaging, if you opted in), and GlossGenius (appointment scheduling). They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of it. We do not sell or share your personal information. To exercise any right, email aprille@novumhairstudio.com and we'll respond within the timeframe the law requires.
Data retention & security
We keep your information only as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations, then delete it. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our hosting provider's security controls. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Photos & consent
We never publish a client photo without explicit consent. Photos are hair-only by default; a face is shown only with your specific say-so, and you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
Children
This site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy; the date below reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted here. Last updated: July 2026.
